On the evening of November 11, 2017, we will transform Peachtree City’s DIXIE WING WWII AIRCRAFT MUSEUM at FALCON FIELD into a spectacular western venue, complete with live music, unique cuisine, games, live and silent auctions and plenty of cowboy boots! This year we celebrate the 15th Annual Cattle Baron’s Ball of Fayette and Coweta Counties. Since inception, this wonderful event has raised over $1.5 million to support the American Cancer Society’s mission to fund lifesaving research patient programs, and services. This was only made possible through the combined efforts of donors, patrons, and sponsors in this great community.
American Cancer Society - Our Mission is Simple.
The American Cancer Society's mission is to save lives, celebrate lives, and lead the fight for a world without cancer. Every action we take moves us one step closer to a world free from the pain and suffering of cancer. We do this by drawing on the values of humanity to encourage prevention, raise awareness, foster innovation, inspire generosity, deepen understanding and provide care.
We encourage prevention by advocating for lifesaving changes, promoting early screening, and empowering others to make healthy lifestyle choices.
We are relentless in our efforts to raise awareness by honoring the people we’ve lost, supporting those in treatment and celebrating the lives we’ve saved.
We foster innovation by conducting groundbreaking research and funding pioneering scientists.
We inspire generosity by motivating communities to donate and mobilizing them to act.
We deepen understanding by listening to those in need of support and guiding them to essential resources.
We provide care for everyone affected by cancer by delivering crucial health information and vital patient service.
